Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church celebrates worship with a liturgical service.
In short, this is a structured way of bringing together the elements of worship with music and scripture. Liturgy is much more than singing some traditional phrases rooted in Scripture.
We use a mixture of music, art, vestments, furnishings, processions, actions and prayers to convey and feel the mystery and beauty of the Gospel. In fact, Liturgy is far more than some words; the total surroundings represent a way of communicating our worship celebration: the altar cloths, vestments, images, flowers and colors of the liturgical season all create a welcoming invitation to worship.
We strive to create an environment for the Liturgy that provides a worthy and beautiful place for God’s people to worship him.
Each element of the liturgy communicates the divine mystery and therefore represents an opportunity to share the true sense of beauty in that mystery. The altar represents Christ himself. The vessels must be worthy of holding the Blood and Body of Christ. And the Book of God’s Word must communicate the sacredness of the texts within as the living Word of God.
Come and enjoy our services as a way to meet Jesus personally through music, song, and scripture.
